AREA INFORMATION The ever popular Pound Hill is located on the east of Crawley and is bordered by Three Bridges and Manor Royal to the west and Maidenbower to the south. It is one of the largest local neighbourhoods and has a variety of housing from first time buyer flats to executive detached houses approaching £1,000,000. There are two parades of shops, three pubs, three churches and surgeries in the area. VENDOR'S COMMENTS My parents moved to the newly built house on their wedding day in 1956. My brother was born there and I was married from that house. It was a very happy family home and we have lots of wonderful memories and, in particular, all the Christmases our family spent there. I did live there; I grew up there and only left when I moved into my own home. Of course my parents continued to live there, so there were frequent visits back to the house. There are lots of lovely neighbours in Herrick Close who I still enjoy a chat with when I'm visiting the property.
